Photo ID at the polls

A Texas driver license, Election ID Certificate, personal ID card or handgun license; a U.S. passport, military ID with photo or citizenship certificate with photo. If you can't reasonably get one, other ID and a form at the polls work. Details at VoteTexas.gov.

Vote all the way down the ballot

Texas ended straight-ticket voting in 2020, so there is no one-mark party option. Please vote in every race, all the way down the ballot, and don't skip any. Vince is on your ballot as Vincent “Vince” Perez, Democrat, for State Representative, District 77.

Voting by mail

Voters 65 and over may vote by mail. The county must receive the application by Friday, Oct. 23 at 5 p.m. Print it, sign it, and mail it to the Early Voting Clerk, 500 E. San Antonio Ave., Suite 314, El Paso, TX 79901.

Each high school area's progress toward 100,000 net Democratic votes

El Paso County's goal is 100,000 net Democratic votes. Each area's part of that goal is its share of El Paso's 2018 margin. In each row, the bar is the area's estimated progress so far and the dashed line is where it needs to be by today to stay on track. Through Wednesday, Oct. 21 (early-voting day 3 of 12): El Paso County is at an estimated 65% of where it needs to be, about 16,950 of the 26,240 net votes needed by today, and 30 of 31 areas are behind. These are estimates: no votes are counted until Election Day. Progress is estimated from who has voted early so far, by mail and in person, and how voters with the same party primary record in each area voted in past Novembers. "Where it needs to be today" assumes net votes arrive at the pace ballots did in 2018. Each area groups the voting precincts nearest that high school campus; it is not the school district's attendance zone.
